My current list:
NameDesc
DecentraleyesLocally mirrors and serves js libaries for privacy. (jquery.com know's that you are currently on reddit.
Google search link fixPrevents Googlesearch pages from modifying search result links for tracking your click.
GreasemonkeyAllows to inject custom javascript into sites. Mainly for convenience. Tons of good premade scripts on greasyfork.net
HTTPS EverywhereWill default to https for any site that offers it but sources/hotlinks to http in some cases.
KeeProvides an API for KeePass
NoscriptBlocks Javascript on sites/domains and patterns of such. I use it for completely unknown sites and selectively block scripts on known sites with uBlock instead.
Personal Blocklist (not by Google)Allows you to blacklist domains from google search results
Reddit Enhancement SuiteConvenience and statistical tools for reddit.
uBlock OriginA fast, memory efficient and proper maintained adblocker.
Firefox Multi-Account ContainersAllows you to isolate sets of domains in custom environments. If you need to use a site with mixed content, this is your solution.
Edit: Also some easy and practicable changes to your firefox:
  • Disable telemetry
  • globally enable tracking protection and DNT
  • Change your search provider to DuckDuckGo (Use google only as fallback if your search results were not good enough)
  • Remove (or at least disable) all closed source plugins (DRM,..). You cannot verify at all that they are no thread.
  • Replace your homepage. Default one parses data from google. So they know when exactly you started up your browser.
Useful changes in about:config (just the ones that shouldn't affect functionality)
  • Set "browser.safebrowsing.phishing.enabled = false" in about:config. Else, google gets every domain you ever visit handed on a silver tablet.
  • Set "browser.safebrowsing.malware.enabled = false" in about:config. Same reason. This time the data goes to mozilla.
  • network.http.sendSecureXSiteReferrer = false to not send refferer informations across sites.
Edit2: You can do more in terms of privacy, affecting functionality (ex: geolocation). To endorse you to make an informed decision, I won't get into the details about this. Read on here if you want to know more. And note that security as well as privacy is a continious task, not a state.
As a last note: DO NOT USE CHROME!

Stylus - change the colors of website background (i like to keep a black/dark background on most sites i frequently visit)
ImprovedTube - stretch youtube videos edge-to-edge, without going fullscreen, and you can change other settings as default (for ex.: set all videos to run 1080p, and not auto)
Imagus - hover mouse over images and it enlarges them, without opening a new tab
GoogleGIFs - gifs play on google image search
